We are beginning a community project to explore how we can help others who are experiencing bereavement. To get involved please look for the sheets in church, and respond to the questions on them. Replies also welcome by email. All replies to Eleanor. Thanks.


Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

Traditionally the week 18th -24th January is one in which we gather together to pray for unity across the world. This coming year we will be marking this important week with three gatherings in Shrewton:

  • A service for Women’s World Day of Prayer Methodist Church 18th January at 7.30pm
  • An interactive ‘Prayer Space’ and opportunity for quiet prayer and reflection St Mary’s, Shrewton 22nd January at 6pm
  • “Soup and Sing” The Bustard 24th January at 7pm

Holy Communion at Home

If you would like to receive Holy Communion over the Christmas period, please make contact with David or me. We would be delighted to visit you at home.

Please note that there will be NO Holy Communion Service on Tuesday 27th December.

 David and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your kind messages and Christmas wishes. We in turn wish you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas, and look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
