PAST EVENTS IN ORCHESTON
Good Friday Walk
Good Friday, 2022
One of our favourite traditions during Holy Week is to walk with the cross between the churches of our parish. This year, we travelled together from Shrewton to Orcheston on a bright spring day. Joined by other pilgrims en route (plus a dog or two), we ended our journey with a service of reflection at the foot of the cross.

We will Remember Them
November 2020
Throughout Salisbury Plain we have a very strong tradition of marking Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day. It’s inevitable when you know how many serving personnel and veterans live here. In 2020 we have had to cope with being unable to mark such days in the way we have been used to. But that didn’t stop us from taking time at 1100hrs on Remembrance Sunday to mark the Silence properly in all 4 villages of the parish.

All Set For A Wedding!
June 2019
Our little village hosts around one wedding a year, but we love to see the church ready and waiting to welcome all its guests!

Teddy Bears' Picnic
11 March 2018
Were you with us on the Mothering Sunday Teddy Bears’ Picnic in Orcheston? If so, you might see a familiar bear face in one of these photos!

What was this one's name?

Are you sure you're a teddy bear, Tigger?!

Much loved teddies all in a row!
