Church Electoral Roll application form
Every parish (or, in our case, benefice) in the Church of England maintains an Electoral Roll. It is the basic list in every parish of all those entitled to vote on elections within the Church of England. Those entitled to have their names on this roll have to be 16 years of age or more and must reside in the relevant parish or be regular worshippers in the churches of th parish or benefice whose roll they wish to join. The roll is completely renewed every six years, at which point all members have to re-apply for membership or else their names will be deleted, so that the continuing validity of the roll is maintained.
To apply for enrolment on the electoral roll of the Salisbury Plain Benefice (the former parishes of Chitterne, Orcheston, Shrewton and Tilshead), please print off a copy of this form and fill it in. You should tick only one of boxes 2A, 2B, or 2C.
