Experience Christmas with Shrewton CE Primary

In December we welcomed 125 children into church to ‘Experience Christmas’. They thought about their hopes for the world, just as Mary thought about her hopes when she was told she would give birth to God’s Son. Each group also prepared a Christmas crib, and set their 3 wise men on a journey to Bethlehem. Every child was also given the opportunity to pause for a moment at our ‘Remembering Tree’, and place a glass pebble in memory of a loved one. Then, after hearing the story of St Nicholas, gifts were selected, tags written, and then parcels were made up by our wonderful volunteer team.
