We are a registered charity (number 1091400) whose main interest is in the maintenance, repair and improvement of the St Mary’s Church for the benefit of the whole community. There are over 90 family and individual members and, since being formed in 2002, it has raised over £50,000. The Friends has substantially contributed to the repairs to the roof, stonework and glass in the church and in re-ordering the nave with an altar and furniture.
Each year the Friends meet for an Annual General Meeting followed by a talk by a specialist speaker on a subject of interest. Generally an outing event is arranged and recently visits have been made to Windsor Castle Highclere Castle and Wells. These events have proved popular and most enjoyable.
