Salisbury Plain Benefice

Welcome to our community!

We are a group of 4 villages who are continuing a tradition of worship and service on the Plain which extends back nearly 1000 years. We aim to focus on being a Christian presence in our community, and to support our Diocesan vision to ‘Renew Hope’ through our prayer, our learning and our action.

In 2014 we became a single parish, which put simply means we are cared for by one ministry team and we do all our planning together. We have 4 churches (one per village) which are open every day, and 8 churchyards which we care for. Every village is unique and has its own traditions and priorities, and so we try to honour and support each church community in that light. We hope you will enjoy exploring our site. If you have any comments or questions, please do get in touch!
